Tuesday, June 5, Rapid City, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. MDT – The Department of Labor and Regulation will be hosting a Job Search Assistance Program (JSAP) at 111 New York St., #107C.  The JSAP is a free workshop for people recovering from job loss or enhancing their job search skills.  Trained instructors speak on modern-day techniques used to successfully find employment.  Topics covered are: resume and cover letter writing, interviewing etiquette, networking effectively, using social media and much more.  For more information, call 605-394-2296 or visit www.sdjobs.org

Wednesday, June 6, Aberdeen, 1:15 p.m. CST – The Department of Human Services' Division of Rehabilitation Services Board of Vocational Rehabilitation will hold its quarterly board meeting beginning at 1:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6th at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel on 1400 8th Avenue NW in Aberdeen.  The meeting will resume on Thursday, June 7th at 8:30 a.m. (CST) to noon.
