Monday, June 18, Pierre – The South Dakota Board on Geographic Names will meet at 3 p.m. CDT at the Department of Tourism and State Development building, 910 East Sioux Avenue. The board will discuss changing the name of Negro Creek, which is located in Ziebach County.
Monday, June 18, Pierre, 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. CDT – The South Dakota Task Force on Teen Driving Safety will hear comments from a group of South Dakota teens at its meeting at the RedRossa Italian Grille meeting room, 808 West Sioux Avenue. The task force will discuss driver education issues and potential legislation affecting teen driving. Testimony from the teens is scheduled for 1 p.m..
