Work To Begin On Highway 87 in Custer State Park
CUSTER, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation will begin work on state Highway 87 in Custer State Park the week of July 9.
The project extends from south of Blue Bell Lodge, northward to the junction with Black Hills Playhouse Road.
Work being done includes milling the existing surface and replacing it with new asphalt concrete surfacing.
Traffic will be maintained by flaggers and pilot cars. Motorists can expect delays up to 15 minutes.
Bituminous Paving is the contractor for the $1.6 million project in Custer State Park.
