Search Under Way For Missing State Prison Inmate

Search underway for missing state prison inmate

PIERRE, S.D. -  A search is under way for a missing state prison inmate.

 

Inmate Eric Harcey walked away from the Yankton Minimum Unit late Thursday evening.

 

Harcey, age 26, is a white male, 5-feet-8 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Harcey was sentenced in July 2009 to 15 years in prison, with 10 years suspended for a grand theft conviction in Lawrence County.

 

Anyone who sees Harcey or knows of his whereabouts should contact law enforcement immediately.
