Gov. Daugaard Asks For Flags at Half-Staff For Shooting Victims
PIERRE, S.D. – At President Obama’s request, Gov. Dennis Daugaard has asked that all flags in South Dakota be flown at half-staff, immediately, from 8 a.m. until sunset through Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, in respect for victims of the mass shooting at Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
President Obama ordered flags at half-staff on Monday at all public buildings and grounds, and military facilities, out of respect for those who were killed and injured in the attack.
