I-90 Construction In Spearfish Area

 

SPEARFISH, S.D. - The South Dakota Department of Transportation has begun construction of median crossovers and ramp detours on Interstate 90 between Exits 10 and 17 near Spearfish.

   

Motorists can expect minor delays on I-90 during construction, with traffic reduced to one-lane in both the eastbound and westbound directions.

 

This work is being done in preparation for a resurfacing project on the eastbound lanes of I-90 between Exit 10 and Exit 17 next year.

 

The prime contractor on the $3.8 million project is Hills Materials Company. The completion date is Nov. 17.
