Sioux Falls Construction Updates
Cliff Avenue, North 60th Street, East 54th Street
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Two major street construction projects will see changes next week in Sioux Falls.
On Monday, (Sept. 24), the city of Sioux Falls will close east 54th Street, east of Cliff Avenue.
Work crews will spread asphalt and do mainline concrete paving through the intersection. East 54th Street is expected to be reopened by Friday (Sept. 28).
On Monday evening, (Sept. 24), the city of Sioux Falls will open the southeast quadrant and close the northeast quadrant of the intersection at Cliff Avenue and North 60th Street. The full intersection is being reconstructed one-fourth at a time. Traffic will be maintained in all directions, with limits on lane-widths and certain turning movements.
The substantial completion date for both projects is Nov. 30; the prime contractor is T&R Contracting, Inc. of Sioux Falls.
