                                       Former Legislator Elmer Diedtrich Dies

PIERRE, S.D. –  Former South Dakota legislator Elmer Diedtrich died Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Williston, N.D.

 

Diedtrich, 85, formerly of Mina and Aberdeen, served from 1989-1992 and 1999-2000 in the South Dakota House of Representatives and served from 2001-2002 in the state Senate.

 

Gov. Dennis Daugaard has ordered the flag lowered to half-staff at the State Capitol on the day of Diedtrich’s funeral, which is scheduled at 11 a.m. CST on Saturday, Feb. 23, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Aberdeen.
