Walk-in Tech Support and First Friday Class - iPhone Training

Walk-in Tech Support and First Friday Class - iPhone Training

 

The South Dakota Rehabilitation Center for the Blind (SDRC) would like to invite anyone who is a South Dakota resident, has a visual impairment or can’t see to use technology, to participate in the First Friday Computer and Assistive Technology Training.

 

The training will be held on Friday, June 3 from 1pm to 3pm at the SDRC facility located at 2900 W. 11th St., Sioux Falls, S.D. 57104. There is no cost to attend the class. A “Walk-in” tech support clinic will also be held the same day from 8am to 11am at SDRC. Experienced staff will be on hand to answer questions.

SDRC’s purpose is to provide learning opportunities through various programs to assist individuals with disabilities to overcome barriers to personal fulfillment; whether these barriers are physical, vocational, attitudinal, or social. SDRC teaches independent living skills and preparations for employment.

 

SDRC’s programs are administered and staffed by the Division of Service to the Blind and Visually Impaired a division of the South Dakota Department of Human Services.
