Registration Deadline Approaching; Students Encouraged to Attend
PIERRE, S.D.- Oct. 28 is the deadline to register for the pre-events sessions of the South Dakota Local Foods Conference in Mitchell.
Pre-events will be held Nov. 3 with the conference being held Nov. 4 and 5. College and technical school students are encouraged to attend and will be given a student discount rate for registration.
Participants in the conference may choose between 30 different sessions. Topics range from hydroponics to hops and bees to bakeries.
Registration can be completed on line at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2016-south-dakota-local-foods-conference-november-3-5-tickets-26591577123. Students wishing to attend must register online and can pay at the door, showing their student identification.
