Thursday, Jan. 18, 7 p.m. CST, Pierre – Lt. Gov. Matt Michels will emcee the South Dakota Governor’s Conference on Tourism annual Awards Night Gala at the Ramkota Hotel and Conference Center. Gov. Dennis Daugaard will present tourism industry awards and reveal the 2017 economic impact results of the tourism industry.

Friday, Jan. 19, 6:30 p.m. CST, Mitchell – Lt. Gov. Matt Michels will emcee the Mitchell Chamber, Development & Main Street Annual Banquet at the Highland Conference Center.

Material from the news conference will be embargoed for release until 7 p.m. CST Thursday, Jan. 18, when the results will be revealed at the annual tourism conference closing banquet in Pierre.
