Gov. Daugaard Signs Bills Into Law

 

PIERRE, S.D. – Gov. Daugaard signed the following bills into law this afternoon:

 

SB 30 – provide for the regulation of microblading by municipalities.

 

SB 35 – revise the classification of juvenile corrections agents in the South Dakota Retirement System and to revise certain terminology regarding correctional staff. 

 

SB 36 – revise certain provisions regarding the South Dakota Retirement System. 

 

SB 37 – revise the automatic enrollment provisions of the deferred compensation plan of the South Dakota Retirement System. 

 

SB 38 – revise the process for establishing the compensation of the executive director of the South Dakota Retirement System. 

 

SB 49 – authorize the Board of Regents to purchase unimproved agricultural real property in Brookings County, to make an appropriation therefor, and to declare an emergency. 

 

SB 71 – revise certain provisions related to a license renewal for the practice of medicine, osteopathy, surgery, or obstetrics. 

 

HB 1014 – revise certain provisions regarding the application of the intrastate exemption for certain commercial vehicles from the federal motor carrier regulations. 

 

HB 1026 – revise certain educational requirements pertaining to the practice of cosmetology. 

 

HB 1038 – revise certain provisions regarding the medical support obligations to a child. 

 

HB 1039 – repeal certain outdated and unnecessary provisions regarding certain child support obligations and medical services to the indigent. 

 

HB 1063 – revise certain provisions regarding the Sioux Falls research park. 

 

HB 1066 – revise certain provisions regarding the issuance of vehicle license plates and stickers. 

 

HB 1080 – revise certain requirements to qualify for emblem specialty plates for motor vehicles. 

 

HB 1102 – revise certain provisions regarding the use and display of the great seal of South Dakota. 

 

HB 1105 – revise certain provisions regarding the validation of absentee ballot signatures. 

 

HB 1117 – revise certain provisions regarding the licensing of historical motor vehicles.
