Gov. Dennis Daugaard’s Public Commitments; Public Meetings:

Saturday, Feb. 17, 6 p.m. CST, Sioux Falls – Gov. Dennis Daugaard will speak at the 2018 National Pheasant Fest and Quail Classic Banquet at the Ramkota, Sioux Falls, SD.

 

Sunday, Feb. 18, 10 a.m. CST, Yankton Gov. Dennis Daugaard will speak at the World Indoor 2018 Championship Archery Tournament at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Complex located at 800 Archery Lane.

 

Friday, Feb. 23, to Monday, Feb. 26, Washington, D.C. – Gov. Dennis Daugaard will attend the 2018 National Governors Association Winter Meeting in Washington, DC.

 

Friday, Feb. 23, 12 p.m. CST, Governor’s Large Conference Room, Capitol Building, Pierre  Lt. Gov. Matt Michels will hold a press conference at 12 p.m. CST on Friday, Feb. 23, in the Governor’s Large Conference Room on the second floor of the Capitol Building.

 

Tuesday, Feb. 20, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CST, Aberdeen – Representatives from Harley Davidson will answer questions and conduct interviews at the Aberdeen Job Service office, located at 420 S. Roosevelt St. For more information, call 605-626-2340.

 

Tuesday, Feb. 20, 1 p.m. CST, Sioux Falls – South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA), in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED), will be hosting a public meeting in Sioux Falls to discuss housing and community development priorities. The meeting is an opportunity for the public to provide their comments, suggestions and ideas for how state and federal dollars should be utilized for housing and community development. The federal programs to be discussed are HUD’s Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnership Program, Housing Trust Fund and Emergency Solutions Grants Program. The IRS program, Housing Tax Credit and South Dakota’s Housing Opportunity Fund will also be discussed. The meeting will take place at the Sioux Falls Main Library’s Meeting Room A, located at 200 N.
