Monday, April 23, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. CDT, Pierre Gov. Dennis Daugaard will speak at the 2018 Associated School Board’s Academic Excellence Recognition Luncheon at the Ramkota in Pierre.

 

Monday, April 23, 1 p.m. CDT, Madison  First Lady Linda Daugaard will speak at the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) Aspiration Awards at the Beacom Institute of Technology at Dakota State University.

Tuesday and Wednesday, April 24 & 25, 10 a.m. CDT, Pierre – DENR staff will host two days of Visible Emission Evaluation Certification at the National Guard Armory, 3400 E. Highway 34. The free “Spring Smoke School” field certification is open to those from industry, municipalities, consultants or anyone who would like to be certified to evaluate visible emissions (smoke/dust). Monday, April 23, to Friday, April 27 – The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation will host Job Search Assistance Programs (JSAP). JSAP is a workshop for people recovering from job loss or enhancing their job search skills. Trained instructors speak on modern-day techniques used to successfully find employment.
