What:    One-vehicle crash

Where:  390th Avenue and 135th Street Intersection

               One mile southeast of Aberdeen, S.D.

When:   Early morning of Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018


Driver: Tyler Fischer, 25, Aberdeen, S.D., Fatal Injuries

Vehicle: 2013 Honda Civic Si


ABERDEEN, S.D. – An Aberdeen man has been officially identified as the person who died early Tuesday morning in a one-vehicle crash southeast of Aberdeen.  


A 2013 Honda Civic Si was southbound on 390th Avenue when the driver failed to negotiate the intersection at 135th Street. The vehicle went into the west ditch and rolled multiple times.


Tyler Fischer, the 25-year-old driver, was not wearing a seatbelt. He was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only occupant.


South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.


The Highway Patrol is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
