Hire the Hills Co-Hosting Box Elder Career Expo in May

PIERRE, SD – The Department of Labor and Regulation Rapid City Job Service is partnering with the City of Box Elder and the Ellsworth AFB Military & Family Readiness Center to host the Box Elder Career Expo.

As part of the Rapid City Job Service “Hire the Hills” campaign, this free recruiting and hiring event will be held on Wednesday, May 1, from 4-6 p.m. at the Box Elder Community Center, 420 Villa Drive in Box Elder. 

Through the Hire the Hills campaign, this free event is designed to allow job seekers the opportunity to visit, apply, and possibly receive a confidential interview with one or more businesses in one location. Individuals should bring a resume and be prepared to apply and interview for open positions.

Job seekers will be able to engage with Box Elder and Rapid City area employers from various industries including local and federal government, hospitality, food service, construction, healthcare, and more. 

Participating businesses can build brand awareness, find an untapped pool of qualified candidates, benefit from face-to-face interaction with potential employees, and save time and money finding qualified employees.

Interested individuals can get a complete list of participating employers and get help with a resume or cover letter before the event by contacting the Rapid City Job Service office at 605-394-2296 to speak with an employment specialist.
