“Career and technical education must constantly evolve to keep up with ever-changing workforce needs,” said Secretary of Education Dr. Joseph Graves. “Grants like these help our schools stay on the cutting-edge, so they can offer students the most relevant hands-on learning possible.”
All approved CTE programs are encouraged to apply for these grants annually to enhance CTE programming to better serve special populations, to better align with workforce demands, or to spark innovative delivery methods. The equipment enhancements made possible through these grants will make transformative changes in these districts’ CTE programs. High quality CTE programs give students the knowledge, skills, and experiences to be prepared for postsecondary education and the workforce.
These grants are partially funded with federal dollars available to the Department of Education through the American Rescue Plan (ARP).
