PIERRE, S.D. – A prospectus for the operation of Dock 44, located inside Snake Creek Recreation Area near Platte is available through South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks (GFP).
The prospectus details the terms and conditions under which interested operators may submit a proposal for consideration. It also includes a detailed business opportunity, the requirements necessary to submit a proposal and a draft concession agreement for a term of ten years. Proposals must be received by 3 p.m. on Nov. 2, 2016.
The 735-acre Snake Creek Recreations Area is located on the east shore of Lake Francis Case and consists of a multi-lane boat ramp, campground with 115 campsites, a swimming beach, 10 camping cabins and other amenities such as bath/shower house, picnic shelters, hiking trails and playgrounds. The marina and resort has seasonal boat slips, two housekeeping cabins, full service restaurant and bar.

Snake Creek Recreation Area is located 15 miles west of Platte off SD Highway 44.
