Pierre, S.D. - A state prison inmate failed to return from a scheduled work release job search today.

Kenneth Bavaro, age 27, left the minimum security facility of the Jameson Annex to the State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls to look for work this afternoon, but never returned.

Bavaro is serving a four-year sentence for Damage to Property out of Pennington County.

He is white, five-feet-six inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
