Gov. Rhoden to Visit Winner on Open for Opportunity Tour

PIERRE, S.D. – Tomorrow, Governor Larry Rhoden will visit Winner on his Open for Opportunity tour.

Governor Rhoden is proud of the young students across South Dakota who are representing our state with excellence. Mrs. Keiser’s first grade class from Winner Elementary School is one prime example as they recently won the South Dakota Department of Transportation’s Blizzard Bracket showdown, including defeating the finalist from North Dakota. The Governor will celebrate with them by taking a walkthrough of the school and seeing the snowplow, which was named “Thaw Patrol” by the first graders.

Governor Rhoden will also tour Grossenburg Implement, which is a John Deere implement dealership. Businesses like Grossenburg Implement are essential in the continued success of our thriving ag industry.
