Flags at Half-Staff at State Capitol in Honor of Michael Saba

PIERRE, S.D. – Today, Governor Larry Rhoden ordered that flags be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol from sunrise until sunset on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in honor of former state legislator Michael Saba. He served in the South Dakota House of Representatives from 2019-2020.

A memorial service will be held at 9 am CT on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 3117 E Century Ave, Bismarck, ND 58503.
