Emerson Drive To Play South Dakota State Fair
(Pierre)- If you are a country music fan, you’ll want to be on hand Friday, August 1st at the 2003 South Dakota State Fair. The hot new country act, Emerson Drive, will perform a free concert on the Freedom Stage at 5:30 p.m., prior to the grandstand entertainment featuring a PRCA rodeo produced by Sutton Rodeos.
Emerson Drive, a six member Canadian group, has taken country music by storm. From George Strait to Buddy Holly, Emerson Drive has a range of musical influences giving them a unique sound that appeals to fans of all ages. Their album Emerson Drive, released in April 2002 and produced by DreamWorks Records, has had hit singles including “I Should Be Sleeping” and “Fall Into Me”. The self-titled album features songs written by some of Nashville’s best writers. The song “Fall Into Me” has made its mark on both the billboard and R&R charts. “Only God (Could Stop Me Loving You)”, written by Robert J. “Mutt” Lange, is the next single scheduled for release.
Make plans now to be at the South Dakota State Fair on Friday, August 1st for the free concert by Emerson Drive. The performance will take place on the Freedom Stage, beginning at 5:30 p.m., prior to the PRCA Rodeo produced by Sutton Rodeos.
