Secretary of Dept. of Human Services announces resignation
PIERRE, S.D. – Gov. Mike Rounds announced today that Betty Oldenkamp, Secretary of South Dakota Department of Human Services, is leaving her position effective March 1, 2006.
“Betty has been a passionate advocate for people,” said Gov. Rounds on the announcement. “She has worked with the Department of Human Services for the past 14 years and has guided the department as Secretary for the last 4 ½ years. She will be greatly missed. I wish her the very best in her future.”
