Canton Man Claims $36,700 Dakota Cash Jackpot

(Pierre) – Stacey Van Gronigen of Canton today claimed the $36,700 jackpot he won in the October 15th Dakota Cash drawing.

Van Gronigen claimed his prize this afternoon at the Lottery office in Sioux Falls. It is the 112th time the Dakota Cash jackpot has been won since the game began in 1993.

The winning "quick pick" ticket was sold at the Pump ‘N Pak in Canton. The store will receive a $1,835 bonus for selling the ticket.

Dakota Cash is played only in South Dakota. The estimated jackpot for the next drawing on Wednesday night is $20,000. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1:324,632.
