Gov. Dennis Daugaard’s Public Commitments; Public Meetings:
Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1 p.m. CST, Pierre, Capitol Building, House of Representatives – Gov. Dennis Daugaard will deliver his annual State of the State address to a joint session of the South Dakota Legislature. The address will be carried live on South Dakota Public Broadcasting. Following the address, the Governor will hold a press conference in the Governor’s Large Conference Room.
Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2:45 p.m. CST, Pierre, Capitol Building, Governor’s Reception Area – Gov. Dennis Daugaard will sign the Operation Reach All Veterans proclamation in the Governor’s reception area. State Department of Veterans Secretary Larry Zimmerman will be present. The proclamation will kick off the Department’s initiative for 2014 to reach out to all of South Dakota’s 75,000 veterans.
Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1:30 p.m. CST, Pierre, Capitol Building, House of Representatives – South Dakota Supreme Court Chief Justice David Gilbertson will deliver his annual State of the Judiciary address to a joint session of the South Dakota Legislature. The address will be carried live on South Dakota Public Broadcasting.
Thursday, Jan. 16, 12 p.m. CST – Gov. Dennis Daugaard will be a guest on South Dakota Public Broadcasting’s Dakota Midday live radio program.
Wednesday, Jan. 15, 11 a.m. CST, Pierre – The Railroad Board of the South Dakota Department of Transportation will conduct a meeting in the DOT Commission Room (Room 200) of the Becker-Hansen Building, located at 700 E.
