Tuesday, Aug. 7, to Thursday, Aug. 9, Pierre – The South Dakota Board of Regents meets at River Rock Lodge for its annual planning session and regular business meeting. The regents’ planning session begins at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug 7, at River Rock Lodge, located east of Pierre at 20940 296th Ave. An executive session is scheduled Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. CDT and Wednesday from 2:45-4 p.m. CDT. The planning session continues on Wednesday and concludes Thursday morning. The business meeting convenes immediately after the planning session ends Thursday morning, also at River Rock Lodge. The agenda includes adoption of a budget request for Fiscal Year 2020.
