Gov. Rounds announces additional opening of South Dakota I-29

PIERRE, S.D. – Gov. Mike Rounds has announced an additional opening of the following interstate highway in South Dakota:

I-29 from Watertown to the North Dakota border will open at 10 a.m. CT.

This is a coordinated effort with North Dakota, who will open I-29 across the border as well.

Interstate Highways previously opened Tuesday included:

I-29 from Sioux Falls to Watertown, both directions, opened at 8:30 a.m. CT.

I-90 from Mitchell to Sioux Falls, EASTBOUND LANES ONLY, opened at 8:30 a.m. CT.
