TMone chooses Spearfish for their largest Call Center, Creates Jobs

PIERRE, S.D.Gov. Dennis Daugaard announced today that TMone, a business process outsourcing firm, is expanding its operations into western South Dakota.  The company is opening a 500-seat contact center in Spearfish that will employ up to 500 people.  The company initially plans on hiring 50 people.

The customer contact center will provide Customer Service, E-Commerce, 1st Party Collections, Inbound, Outbound, and Telephone Account Management interactions for TMone clients, which are mostly Fortune 1000 companies.  TMone will begin the hiring process in late August and commence live operations in September.

Jason Hall, TMone’s CEO, said the company is looking for employees with advanced call center skills, management skills, and experience with an aptitude for turning service calls into sales opportunities.  He further notes that TMone is committed to delivering the same excellent client experience, customer satisfaction and results as it provided to its very first client almost nine years ago.

“Our employees help our clients build relationships and clearly identify customer needs,” said Hall. “We know these skill sets exist in the Spearfish area workforce, and we’re excited to continue growing our footprint in beautiful western South Dakota.”

TMone, which also has a call center in North Sioux City, will lease the former Premier Bankcard building from the City of Spearfish.

Gov. Daugaard said TMone’s new location is great news and was accomplished by teamwork among TMone, Spearfish, state government and Premier Bankcard.

“Both the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and City of Spearfish have been working to recruit TMone to Spearfish for several months,” the Governor said. “Premier Bankcard offered a very attractive incentive by donating its building, workstations, computers, and telephone systems to the city, providing TMone with a ready-to-use site.”

Miles Beacom, President and CEO of Premier Bankcard, said his company is pleased that its donation is helping provide new employment opportunities in Spearfish.

For more than 10 years we enjoyed a great partnership with the people in the Spearfish area, and we’re fortunate that we had the ability to provide the facility as a sign of our appreciation to the community,” said Beacom.  “We wish TMone and the community continued success as they move forward.”

“TMone will be a great addition to the Spearfish business community,” said Bryan Walker, Executive Director, Spearfish Economic Development Corporation.  “The company will certainly help fill the employment gap created by Premier’s closing. This project could not have come together so quickly if it were not for the unwavering support of Mayor Krambeck and the Spearfish City Council.”
