REMAINING BOWHUNTER EDUCATION COURSES
PIERRE – Hunters needing archery certification to hunt deer are reminded that all first-time archers and all archers under the age of 16 must complete a National Bowhunter Education Foundation sanctioned course to get a state archery big game license.
"To help, courses are listed online at www.state.sd.us/gfp/hunting/info/NBEF.htm," said Hunter Safety Program Specialist Bill Shattuck. "Courses may not be available in every community, so hunters need to plan ahead to locate a convenient course."
