Tuesday, Feb 2, 8:30 a.m. CST, Huron – Gov. Dennis Daugaard will be in Huron on Tuesday as part of his State of the State tour. The Governor will be at the Huron Chamber coffee at Crossroads/Huron Event Center (Roosevelt Room) to talk about his education proposal.

 

Monday, Feb. 1, 12 p.m. CST, Ft. Pierre – Lt. Gov. Matt Michels will serve as the guest speaker at the Kiwanis Luncheon at Perkins Restaurant in Ft. Pierre.

 

Monday, Feb. 2, 11 a.m. MST, Spearfish – The Social Work, Board of Examiners will be holding a teleconference board of directors meeting at 629 Main St. and at Family Services Inc., 2210 W. Tuesday, Feb. 2, to Wednesday, Feb. 3, Pierre – The South Dakota Board of Regents will meet with members of the Legislature’s Joint Committee on Appropriations for the board’s Fiscal Year 2017 budget hearing. The hearing is scheduled 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Feb. 2, and from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Feb. 3, in Legislative Conference Room 1 on the third floor of the State Capitol Building. While a quorum of the Board of Regents is expected to be present for this budget hearing, regents will not officially convene as a board nor meet to take any official action. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 10 a.m. CST DENR’s Waste Management Program will hold an online presentation to discuss hazardous waste regulations.
