Gov. Rhoden to Visit Watertown on Open for Opportunity Tour

PIERRE, S.D. – Tomorrow, Governor Larry Rhoden will visit Watertown on his Open for Opportunity tour.

Governor Rhoden will highlight the economic opportunities available in Watertown by touring Terex Utilities, which is a leading global manufacturer of bucket trucks and digger derricks for electric utilities. He will do a quick tour of the Monastery and have a briefing on the Challenger Learning Center. The learning center is affiliated with NASA and will offer missions (courses) focused on Mars and the moon.

Governor Rhoden will continue his investment in the future of South Dakota’s workforce by touring Lake Area Technical College, including the nursing program and several programs related to agriculture. He will interview with Mike Tanner on KWAT and interact with several other media outlets throughout the day.
