Paving Work Begins On Highway 14 West Of Fort Pierre

FORT PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation began a paving project today on Highway 14 approximately four miles west of Ft. Pierre.

The project is a one-half mile in length and includes removing the existing concrete pavement and repaving this section with asphalt.

Traffic will be maintained through the work area with flaggers and a pilot car. Motorists can expect delays during this time.

The overall completion date for the project is Oct. 11.

The prime contractor on this $307,720 project is Morris, Inc. of Pierre.
