Gov. Dennis Daugaard’s Public Appearances; Public Meetings:

 

Monday, May 30, 11 a.m. CDT, Winner Lt. Gov. Matt Michels will be the guest speaker for the Memorial Day cemetery service at the Winner City Cemetery. Lunch will follow at the Winner American Legion, 311 Jefferson St.

 

Monday, May 30, 11:30 a.m. Gov. Dennis Daugaard will attend and speak at Dell Rapids Post 65 American Legion Memorial Day Program at the Veterans Memorial Park in Dell Rapids.

 

Monday, May 30, 2 p.m. CDT, Colome Lt. Gov. Matt Michels will be the guest speaker for the Memorial Day service at the Colome American Legion, 208 Main St. A wreath laying ceremony will follow at the Colome Cemetery.

 

Tuesday, May 31, 12 – 1 p.m. CDT, Pierre Gov. Dennis Daugaard will attend and speak at the LifeSource Donor Family Recognition Luncheon at the Clubhouse Hotel and Suites.

The South Dakota Lottery Commission will meet at 9 a.m. June 2 in Room 412 of the State Capitol, 500 E. Capitol Ave., for its regular commission meeting. On the agenda is a public hearing on proposed rules for the EZ Match lotto game option, discussion on Lottery requests for proposals, and video lottery, sales and marketing reports. The meeting will recess after the morning session and move to the Highlands Meeting Room of the RedRossa Italian Grille, 808 W. Sioux Ave., in Pierre for a strategic planning meeting. Friday, June 3, 1-3 p.m. CDT, Sioux Falls – The South Dakota Rehabilitation Center for the Blind (SDRC) invites any South Dakota resident who has a visual impairment or can’t see to use technology, to participate in the First Friday Computer and Assistive Technology Training at the SDRC facility located at 2900 W. 11th St. This month’s training will focus on the iPhone. There is no cost to attend the class. Registration is required due to limited class size. Register by Wednesday, June 1.
