I-29 Opens Border To Border In South Dakota at 3:30 p.m.

PIERRE, S.D. - Effective at 3:30 p.m. (CST), Interstate 29 in South Dakota will be open from the North Dakota border to the Iowa border.

Officials remind motorists that even though I-29 is officially open, winter driving conditions will be present, including snow-packed and slippery areas and possible blowing and drifting snow.

Officials with the state Departments of Transportation and Public Safety will continue to assess conditions to determine when it might be possible to re-open other interstate highways within the state.
