Monday, June 1, Sisseton, 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (CDT) - The Department of Labor veterans outreach representative will be available at the Sisseton Local Office, located at 205 East Oak.  Any veteran with questions about employment, job searches, career counseling or training may call 605-698-3964 for more information or to schedule an appointment.  Additional information is also available at www.sdjobs.org.
 
Monday, June 1, Rapid City/Mt. Rushmore, 7:30 p.m. (MDT) – Gov. Mike Rounds will address attendees at the Annual National Tourism Group Tour Operator Marketplace Show being held at Mt.Rushmore. For more information, contact Joe Kafka, 605-773-3212.
 
Tuesday, June 2, Rapid City, 9 a.m. (MDT) - The South Dakota Department of Revenue and Regulation and the Wyoming Department of Revenue are hosting a WY/SD Border Tax Seminar for new and existing businesses who do business in both states. The Sales Tax portion runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a Construction Contractors portion from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required. The seminar is being held at Western Dakota Technical Institute, Conference Rooms A&B, 800 Mickelson Drive. For more information, contact Jo S. Tuesday, June 2, Rapid City, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (MDT) and Wednesday, June 3, Rapid City, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. – The Department of Labor will host the Tractor Supply Job Fair at 111 New York Street. Tractor Supply representatives will be on-site to interview prospective employees for both full-time and part-time positions. Openings include assistant manager, store receivers and team members. For more information, call 605-394-2296.
 
Tuesday-Wednesday, June 2-3, Deadwood, 1:30 p.m. (MDT) - The South Dakota Commission on Gaming will hold administrative hearings and their quarterly business meeting in the City Commission Chambers of the Deadwood City Hall. Tuesday, June 2, Custer State Park,5 p.m. (MDT) – Gov. Mike Rounds, along with representatives from the Game, Fish and Parks and the Custer State Park Resort Company, will speak at the re-dedication ceremony of the newly-remodeled historic State Game Lodge.
