South Dakota Public Broadcasting to Feature High School Championship Events

Parents, students, teachers and fans will be able to track the results of the May high school championship events, including the Boys' and Girls' Golf Tournament, the Boys' Tennis Tournament and the Boys' and Girls' Track Tournament, on South Dakota Public Broadcasting Internet, sdpb.org.

Boys' B & Girls' AA-A-B Golf State Tournaments

SDPB Internet will be live in Aberdeen for both the Boys' and Girls' B, in Vermillion for the Class A and Pierre for the Class AA Golf State Tournament on Monday, May 19, and Tuesday, May 20, to keep Web site visitors up-to-date on the results of the tournaments. Photos from the events, team standings and individual scores can be accessed at the Web site throughout the event and will be archived at sdpb.org following the tournament.

Boys' Tennis State Meet

The 72nd Annual Boys' Tennis State Meet in Sioux Falls will be featured on sdpb.org Thursday, May 22, through Saturday, May 24. Highlighted on the site will be the team and individual standings as well as photos from the event.

Boys' & Girls' AA-A-B State Track Meets

From Friday, May 30, through Saturday, May 31, SDPB will be in Rapid City, Spearfish and Sturgis for the Boys' & Girls' AA-A-B State Track Meets. Fans who log on to sdpb.org will find a schedule of the tournament and team and individual standings. Photos from the event also will be featured online.

This Web site is part of the SDPB High School Championship Events Online. The project, a collaboration between South Dakota Public Broadcasting (SDPB) and the South Dakota High School Activities Association (SDHSAA), provides live results and a multi-media library on the Web of all high school state championship events. The site at sdpb.org covers fine arts festivals and boys’ and girls’ athletic events.
