PIERRE, S.D. – Those attending the November meeting of the History and Heritage Book Club will receive an inside look at editing when they meet at 7 p.m. CST on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Cultural Heritage Center in Pierre.
The featured book is Sitting Bull, Prisoner of War, the newest book published by the South Dakota State Historical Society Press.
Nancy Tystad Koupal, the director of research and publishing for the SDSHS, will explain the editing process for the book at the meeting.
The book club is sponsored by the SDSHS Press and the South Dakota Heritage Fund, the nonprofit fundraising partner of the SDSHS.

The book club meeting has tentatively been set for 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the Cultural Heritage Center. LaRoche will join the meeting by telephone.
