Project Prison Reset to Hold Fourth Meeting

PIERRE, S.D. – Tomorrow will mark the fourth meeting of the Project Prison Reset task force. You can find the full agenda for the meeting here. The meeting materials, including the new site submissions, are available here.

Media outlets are encouraged to attend the sessions on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, beginning at 9:00 am CT at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance, 1600 W. Russell St., Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The Project Prison Reset task force is chaired by Lt. Governor Tony Venhuizen, who will be available for media interviews upon request following the Tuesday sessions. The task force was announced by Governor Larry Rhoden in February.

Recommendations made by this working group will be presented at a Special Session, which will be held at a later date.
