Gov. Rhoden Invites Families to Attend Easter Egg Hunt
PIERRE, S.D. – On Easter Sunday, Governor Larry Rhoden will host the 73rd annual Pierre Elks Lodge Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM (CT), at the Governor’s Residence in Pierre.
“Easter is a special time for families to come together and remember the resurrection of our Savior,” said Governor Larry Rhoden. “Sandy and I look forward to celebrating with all the kids who come to the Easter egg hunt. We hope to see you there!”
Children up to the age of 12 are encouraged to participate in the hunt, but all family members are invited to attend. Families can begin arriving at the Governor’s Residence as early as 12:45 PM (CT).
