Gov. Rhoden to Launch “Open for Opportunity Tour” in Sioux Falls

PIERRE, S.D. – On Monday, Governor Larry Rhoden will launch his Open for Opportunity Tour. To kick off the tour, Governor Rhoden and Lt. Governor Tony Venhuizen will both participate in a panel conversation at the Sioux Falls Chamber: Inside South Dakota event.

The Open for Opportunity Tour will feature Governor Rhoden visiting communities across South Dakota to highlight their economic development efforts, learn their specific needs, and work together to chase down opportunities. Announcements will be forthcoming regarding additional stops on the Open for Opportunity Tour.

The Sioux Falls Chamber event will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 3:00 pm CT/2:00 pm MT at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance, Inc., 1600 W Russell St, Sioux Falls, SD 57104, with a social to follow.

Participating media should arrive at the Sioux Falls Chamber event at 2:45 pm CT for set up and enter through the main doors located at the east entrance. Please RSVP by emailing Mitch Rave.
