Gov. Rhoden to Join Press Conference Celebrating Maude Family with Sec. Rollins, AG Bondi, and Sec. Noem

PIERRE, S.D. – Tomorrow, Governor Larry Rhoden will join a press conference celebrating the dismissal of charges against the Maude family. The press conference will be hosted by U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins. Other attendees will include U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, and the Maude family.

The Maude family had faced a political prosecution at the hands of the Biden Administration over 50 acres of federal land, facing up to 10 years of prison time and a $250,000 fine.

This press conference follows a recent announcement from the Trump Administration declaring that the U.S. Government has dropped criminal charges against the Maude family. At the press conference, Governor Rhoden will shed light on his work with Secretary Rollins to achieve this outcome.

U.S. Senator Mike Rounds, U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson, and U.S. Representative Harriet Hageman will also be in attendance.
