TWO CHRONIC WASTING DISEASE INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS

RAPID CITY -- South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks (GFP) officials have set the dates and times for two informational meetings about chronic wasting disease.

The first meeting will be held from 7-9 p.m. (MDT), Tuesday, June 25, at the Ramkota Hotel and Conference Center, 2111 LaCrosse Street in Rapid City. The second meeting will be held from 7-9 p.m. (MDT), Wednesday, June 26, at the Mueller Civic Center, 801 South Sixth Street in Hot Springs.

"These meetings will provide an opportunity for people to come out and hear presentations about the disease and get questions they may have answered," said Public Involvement Specialist Sarah Winkelman. "Game, Fish and Parks officials will be on hand to answer questions, as well as a representative from the state Veterinarian’s Office."
