740^th Transportation Company deploys overseas

RAPID CITY – The South Dakota Army National Guard now has five units deployed to Southwest Asia. 

The 740^th Transportation Company of Milbank and Brookings departed Fort Carson, CO, Saturday, April 19^th, for an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia.  

The 109^th Engineer Battalion of Sturgis departed Feb. 16^th.  Unit members from the 200^th Engineer Company of Pierre, Chamberlain, and Mobridge and the 727^th Transportation Company from Elk Point, Brookings, and Watertown departed April 5^th.  Company B, 109^th Medical Battalion of Vermillion departed April 6^th.
