Sunday, April 16, 1 p.m. CDT, Pierre – Gov. Dennis Daugaard and First Lady Linda Daugaard invite families to take part in the Elks Easter Egg Hunt on the Governor’s residence lawn. Children up to age 12 are invited to participate.

 

Thursday, April 20, 10:30 a.m. CDT – Gov. Dennis Daugaard will be a guest on the WNAX, 570 AM out of Yankton.

 

Friday, April 21, 12:30 p.m. CDT, Vermillion – Gov. Dennis Daugaard will be the guest speaker at the USD Founder’s Day event at the University of South Dakota Student Center in Vermillion.

Tuesday, April 18, to Thursday, April 20 – Bring Your ‘A’ Game to Work encompasses seven different skills including Appreciation, Attitude, Attendance, Appearance, Ambition, Accountability and Acceptance. These soft skills and a willingness to take direction are generally more desired by employers than the specific skills a particular job requires. This is an 8-hour course offered in a one-day setting or in two four-hour settings. This workshop will be offered at the following locations:

  • Tuesday, April 18, 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. CDT, Sioux Falls – at Southeast Technical Institute, 2320 N. Career Ave. This part one of and 8-hour course to prepare you to earn the Certificate of Work Ethic Proficiency through an online assessment. The cost is $99 per participant.   • Tuesday, April 18, 6 – 9 p.m. CDT, Pierre – at The Right Turn, 124 E. Dakota Ave.  The cost is $175 per participant. The minimum class size is 3 participants.
