Friday, April 21, 12:30 p.m. CDT, Vermillion – Gov. Dennis Daugaard will be the guest speaker at the USD Founder’s Day event at the University of South Dakota Student Center in Vermillion.

Tuesday, April 18, to Thursday, April 20 – Bring Your ‘A’ Game to Work encompasses seven different skills including Appreciation, Attitude, Attendance, Appearance, Ambition, Accountability and Acceptance. These soft skills and a willingness to take direction are generally more desired by employers than the specific skills a particular job requires. This is an 8-hour course offered in a one-day setting or in two four-hour settings. This workshop will be offered at the following locations:

Career Ave. This part one of and 8-hour course to prepare you to earn the Certificate of Work Ethic Proficiency through an online assessment. The cost is $99 per participant. - Tuesday, April 18, 6 – 9 p.m. CDT, Pierre – at The Right Turn, 124 E. Dakota Ave. The cost is $175 per participant. The minimum class size is 3 participants. JSAP is a workshop for people recovering from job loss or enhancing their job search skills. Trained instructors speak on modern-day techniques used to successfully find employment.
