SIOUX FALLS, S.D.–State prison offender Michael Kaiser, age 64, died at a hospital on September 8th following a brief medical issue.

Kaiser was assigned to the South Dakota State Penitentiary at the time of his death.

Kaiser was serving two life sentences for conspiracy to commit murder from Day County.
