South Dakota State Fair and 4-H Announce the 2023 Livestock Schedules

Huron, S.D. – The DEX: Dakota Events CompleX will be open for the 2023 South Dakota State Fair and will serve as the home for open class, 4-H, and FFA beef exhibits and shows. To provide the best showcase for all exhibitors, the State Fair and 4-H are excited to announce the beef and open class sheep schedules for the 2023 South Dakota State Fair.

Showing in the DEX:

• Open Class Beef Show – Tuesday, August 29 and Wednesday, August 30.
• Supreme Row Show – Friday, September 1 at 6 PM.
• 4-H Beef Shows – Friday, September 1, Saturday, September 2, and Sunday, September 3 – (load-in begins Wednesday, August 30 at 6 PM).
• FFA Beef Show – Friday, September 1 at 8 AM.
• FFA Round Robin – Monday, September 4 at 2 PM.

All DEX shows will be held in the Agtegra and Butler Machinery Arenas.

Showing in the 4-H Livestock Complex

• Open Class Sheep Show – Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27.

The 2023 South Dakota State Fair will run from Thursday, August 31, through Monday, September 4. Channel Seeds Preview night will be Wednesday, August 30.
