Gov. Rhoden to Host Veterans Day Bridge Naming Ceremony

PIERRE, S.D. – Tomorrow, Governor Larry Rhoden will host a Veterans Day bridge naming ceremony to honor six brave men who sacrificed everything for their county.

This ceremony is part of the Fallen Heroes Bridge Dedication Program – a program launched in 2019 by the Noem-Rhoden Administration that dedicates state bridges to South Dakotans who were killed in action or classified as missing in action.

The event will take place South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 2:00 pm CT/1:00 pm MT.
