Monday, Nov. 12, 2:30 p.m. CST, Pierre – Lt. Gov. Matt Michels will appear on South Dakota Perspective, broadcast on KGFX and other affiliate stations of the Dakota News Network.

 

Tuesday, Nov. 13, 10 a.m. CST, Ramkota, Pierre – Gov. Dennis Daugaard speaks at the opening of the annual housing conference of the South Dakota Housing Development Authority.

Tuesday, Nov. 13, through Thursday, Nov. 16 – The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation will host Job Search Assistance Programs (JSAP).  JSAP is a workshop for people recovering from job loss or enhancing their job search skills.  Trained instructors speak on modern-day techniques used to successfully find employment.  Topics covered are: resume and cover letter writing, interviewing etiquette, networking effectively, using social media and much more. The session will include basic information on long-term care, the costs related to it, how to plan for long-term care needs, what Medicare and Medicaid will cover and how the Long-Term Care Partnership Program can help. The session is free and open to the public at the Lincoln County Courthouse, in the lower level multipurpose room, 104 N. Main St., Canton, SD 57013. Thursday, Nov. 15, Telephone Conference Call, 10 a.m. CST – DENR’s Board of Minerals and Environment will meet by telephone conference call. The agenda includes findings of fact, conclusions of law and order in the matter of an oil and gas case involving Peter K. Roosevelt’s request to establish a field for producing oil and gas in Fall River County.
