Former Rep. John B. Heilman Jr. Dies

PIERRE, S.D. – Former South Dakota legislator John B. Heilman Jr. of Miller died Tuesday, June 4.

Heilman, 92, served from 1953 – 1954 in the South Dakota House of Representatives.

Gov. Dennis Daugaard has ordered flags lowered to half-staff at the Capitol on the day of Heilman’s funeral, Monday, June 10.
