Gov. Rhoden to Attend High Plains Processing Grand Opening

PIERRE, S.D. – Tomorrow, Governor Larry Rhoden will attend and give remarks at the High Plains Processing Grand Opening in Mitchell.

"South Dakota has a proud reputation of being Open for Opportunity — High Plains Processing is proof of that fact, and it is one of the largest projects in our state's history,” said Governor Larry Rhoden. “This new facility will be a huge economic driver for the Mitchell community and a big boost to South Dakota agriculture!"

High Plains Processing is a new soybean processing plant built by South Dakota Soybean Processors. It is capable of processing 35 million bushels of soybeans annually.

Governor Rhoden will have media availability following the event.
